Chandrayaan-2 Technical Snag Setback: Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Taapsee Pannu And Akshay Kumar Laud ISRO’s Attempt
Bollywood Celebs like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar among others have taken to social media to send out wishes to ISRO and reiterate the fact that every Indian is proud of ISRO’s attempt
Indian’s were glued to their TV sets as they were eagerly
waiting for Chandrayaan-2 to have a safe and smooth landing on moon, last
night. But instead of waking up to the good news, we got to know that
scientists at the Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) ground control lost
contact with Lander of Chandrayaan-2, moments before its scheduled landing on
the lunar surface. Soon after Prime Minister Narendra Modi was informed about
the lost contact, he told ISRO scientists that they should not be disheartened
and India is proud of their achievements. PM Modi was at ISRO the entire night
to watch the historic moment. Not only this, a video of PM Modi consoling the
Chairman Of ISRO is heartwarming and is heavily trending on Internet.
In a statement, Isro said Vikram Lander was moving as per
pans but just 2.1 km above Moon's surface, it lost contact with ground control
centre. "The data is being analysed," said ISRO chief K Sivan.
Bollywood celebs like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar among
others have taken to social media to laud their effort and assure that every
Indian is proud of ISRO’s attempt.
Akshay Kumar: There’s no science without experiment...sometimes we succeed, sometimes we learn. Salute to the brilliant minds of @isro, we are proud and confident #Chandrayaan2 will make way for #Chandrayaan3 soon. We will rise again.

India stands in the league of elite few nations of the world with the most successful space programs. We are so fortunate because most nations will NEVER experience this pride or anything near it.Failure is delay, not defeat. It is a temporary detour, not a dead end. #ProudOfISRO https://t.co/V8NYAOl3CI
